Cliff Lee coming to the Twins?
Sports Illustrated’s Jon Heyman reports that talks between the Minnesota Twins and the Seattle Mariners are starting to heat up. No agreement has been made but the Mariners are reportedly looking for a package deal including catching prospect Wilson Ramos.
The Twins are on a long list of interested bidders for Lee’s services including the Yankees, Rays, Phillies, Mets and Reds.
Lee owns an 8-3 mark with a 2.34 ERA this season to go along with his four complete games. Lee is an absolute horse that would be exactly what the Twins need to anchor their young, inconsistent rotation.
